PRISHTINA, 27 MARCH 2008 – Director of Anti-Corruption Agency Mr. Hasan Preteni and EULEX Chief Prosecutor Theo Jacobs signed on Friday (today) a cooperation agreement through which is enabled exchange of information on possible corruption actions that these two mechanisms possess in accordance with their respective mandates.
Signatories of this Memorandum stated that such a thing has been necessary in order to ensure an effective fight against the criminal phenomena related to corruption in Kosovo.
This memorandum will contribute to ensure a more effective cooperation between the ACA and the EULEX prosecutors, through accurate exchange of information between two parties.
This agreement, which unites the capabilities of both parties, is an extra effort of ACA and EULEX Chief Prosecutor in order for the rule of law to prevail in Kosovo.
